Ryan is the President of Race Day Events and has been with the company since day one, in 2006. Ryan is originally from Sheboygan, WI and now currently lives in Verona with his wife, son and daughter. His favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers and in his spare time he enjoys running and doing triathlons. His favorite thing about Race Day Events is that every day brings something different and challenging. Ryan's favorite event to work is the Scenic Shore 150. He says, "they're long days with rewarding results, and don't forget the beautiful scenery."
Director of Finance/Human Resources
Debbie has been with Race Day Events since 2012. She grew up in Lincolnshire, IL and now lives in Madison with her husband and three children. Debbie's favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers. In her spare time she enjoys running, triathlon training and raising her kids to be fabulous adults. Her favorite thing about Race Day Events is the fun environment and industry and the flexibility at Race Day Events. Debbie's favorite event to work is Tri-ing for Children's Kids Race because she loves watching and helping the new generations of triathletes.
Director of Timing Operations
Amanda has been with Race Day Events since March 2017. She's originally from the Chicagoland area and currently lives in Madison with her fiance. When she's not at an event, or cheering on the Badgers, she can often be found swimming in Lake Monona, biking The Loop and running the Dane County Trail system. The thing she loves most about Race Day Events is the crew’s unrivaled passion for making every event amazing. Her favorite event to work is the Madison Marathon.
Director of Project Management
Abbey has been with Race Day Events since October 2015 and has been in the event industry since 2011. She's originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, but has lived throughout the country where she gained experience in event management. She now lives in Madison with her husband Joe and her Golden Retrievers, Denard and Maizey Blue. Her favorite sports team is the University of Michigan - GO BLUE! Abbey's hobbies include running, cycling, swimming and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite thing about Race Day Events is the great people she gets to work with every day, and putting in the hard work to see smiling faces at the finish line.
Director of Participant Services & Volunteers
Ana's been with Race Day Events since May of 2019. She was born in DeKalb, IL but now lives in McFarland. Her favorite sports teams are all of the Chicago teams - Cubs, Blackhawks, Bears - in that order. In her spare time you can find her reading, listening to podcasts and trying all the new restaurants and foods! Her favorite thing about Race Day Events is the camaraderie among the staff and working together to accomplish one main objective while still having fun!
Director of Marketing
Victoria has been with Race Day Events since January 2020. She is Wisconsin born and raised. She attended UW Madison and has been living in the Madison area ever since – with the exception of the year she spent driving across the country in the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. She’s super passionate about health and fitness so in her spare time you can probably find Victoria working out or looking for new recipes to try. Her favorite thing about Race Day Events is the culture where people know how to work hard but have a lot of fun while doing it.
Garrett has been with Race Day Events since 2014 as a weekend warrior and now works in the office. He was born in Iowa, grew up in Mukwanago and now lives in Madison. In his spare time he enjoys biking, backpacking, running, photography and reading a good book. Garrett's favorite event is the Prairie State Cycling Series.
Rickey started with Race Day Events in the spring of 2017 as a weekend warrior. He has been a project manager with Race Day Events planning races since summer of 2019. He is an avid runner and participates in all distances from 5Ks to Ultras. His current goal is to run a half marathon in every state. In his spare time you can find him running, hiking, woodworking, playing the piano and playing frisbee with his German Shorthair Pointer, Miles.
Ken has been with Race Day Events since the summer of 2018 where he started as a Weekend Warrior. He's from Maple Grove, Minnesota but has been calling Wisconsin home since he started college at UW-Eau Claire in 2014. He doesn't have a favorite sports team but will always root for USA during the Olympics and FIFA World Cups. In his spare time you can find him running, biking, skiing, hiking, and watching movies. His favorite events are The triathlons in the Wisconsin Triathlon Series because "it's really satisfying seeing some of those long days of prep come together for the races (and triathlons will always hold a special place in my heart)."
Timing Project Manager
Dave joined Race Day Events in October 2019 and is a born and raised Madisonian. When not cheering for Badger Athletics you can find him supporting the Miami Dolphins. In his free time you can find him coaching high school football, hockey and training for an upcoming race. His favorite thing about Race Day Events is the amazing team atmosphere and his favorite event is the Lake Mills Triathlon.
Peter started with Race Day Events in 2020. He's from Green Bay, WI, and graduated from UW-Whitewater. He has a passion for all sports and has experience working in the sport and event industries. He's becoming an avid runner and he’s excited to now work on endurance events. When not running or cheering on any Wisconsin sports team, you can find him doing just about anything he can outdoors. Peter is thrilled to join the Race Day Events team and can’t wait to assist in the production of a variety of events.
Sarah has been with Race Day since the summer of 2014. She's from Madison and still lives there with her husband and pups Mildred and Margaret. Her favorite sports teams to cheer on are the Badgers and Brewers. In her spare time she likes to swim, take hundreds of photos, go to concerts and squeeze in as much travel time as she can. Sarah's favorite thing about Race Day Events is the people she gets to work with and the puppies that come to play. Her favorite event to work is the Taste of Madison because of all the good food and live music.
Eli has been with Race Day since the summer of 2016. Eli was born in Illinois but moved here when he was little and will forever say he's a Wisconsinite. His favorite sports teams are the Packers and Badgers. When he's not working you can find him hanging out with friends and playing video games. Eli's favorite event is Taste of Madison because of all the food you get to try throughout the day.
