Ryan is the President of Race Day Events and has been with the company since day one, in 2006. Ryan is originally from Sheboygan, WI and now currently lives in Verona with his wife, son and daughter. His favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers and in his spare time he enjoys running and doing triathlons. His favorite thing about Race Day is that every day brings something different and challenging. Ryan's favorite event to work is the Scenic Shore 150. He says, "they're long days with rewarding results, and don't forget the beautiful scenery."
Business Development/Race Director
Ryan has been with Race Day for a long time and in the event business even longer. He's originally from Eau Claire, WI and graduated with a Sports Management degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Ryan currently lives in Madison with his awesome wife and hilarious three boys. He is a total Wisconsin fan and loves all things Brewers, Packers and Badgers. Ryan's favorite thing about Race Day is the cool people he gets to work with because they're the coolest. His favorite event is whatever event he happens to be working.
Debbie has been with Race Day since 2012. She grew up in Lincolnshire, IL and now lives in Madison with her husband and three children. Debbie's favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers. In her spare time she enjoys running, triathlon training and raising her kids to be fabulous adults. Her favorite thing about Race Day is the fun environment and industry and the flexibility at Race Day. Debbie's favorite event to work is Tri-ing for Children's Kids Race because she loves watching and helping the new generations of triathletes.
CJ has been with Race Day since the summer of 2016. He was born and raised in Appalachia, Ohio - about an hour from where Deliverance was filmed. He was an All-American Golfer at Kent State University. He's also a diehard Kent State Golden Flashers fan. He's also a fan of the Packers, but is not affiliated or a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes in anyway. In his spare time you can find him being a personal assistant to his dog Rodney. His favorite event was the Milkman Triathlon.
Erin has been with Race Day since 2014 and with Madison Festivals since 2011. She is originally from Oshkosh, WI and currently lives in Middleton with her husband David her son Mason and her pup, Miley. Her favorite sports team is the Badgers and in her spare time she enjoys running, playing soccer and eating Goldfish. Erin's favorite thing about Race Day is the laid-back office atmosphere and fun co-workers. She says her favorite event to work is the Taste of Madison because "it's one of Madison's biggest events and once the events is over, you feel a huge sense of accomplishment. Plus you get to listen to live music and eat delicious food all weekend!"
Jacky has been with Race Day since May 2018. She's originally from Chino, California and made the big move to Wisconsin and now resides in Madison. Her favorite sports team is the Los Angeles Dodgers. In her spare time she likes running, cycling, racing triathlons and road races and going to theme parks and concerts. Her favorite thing about Race Day Events is the "work hard, play hard" attitude and all the dogs in the office. Jacky is most looking forward to working the Wisconsin Tri Series and Run Santa Run because she loves getting into the Christmas spirit.
Lori has been with Race Day since 2015. She was born and raised in Madison, made her way to the Quad Cities and Milwaukee area, but made her way back to Madison where she currently lives. She enjoys watching the Green Bay Packers and the Badger football, basketball and hockey teams. In her spare time she likes to work out, hike, travel and hang with friends and family. Lori's favorite thing about working for Race day is the fact that it's a second family. She says, "it is such an amazing place to work, everyone is so friendly, supportive and willing to help. It has a fun atmosphere. We work hard but we also know how to have fun. It has taken me a long time, but I have finally found a job that I love!" She's not sure if she has a favorite event because they're all fun in their own way. If she had to pick one, she'd pick Run Santa Run because she loves to see everyone dressed up in the holiday spirit.
Amanda has bee with Race Day since March 2017. She's originally from the Chicagoland area and currently lives in Madison. Her favorite sports team is the Chicago Cubs. When she’s not at an event, she can often be found swimming in Lake Monona, biking The Loop and running the Dane County Trail system. The thing she loves most about Race Day is the crew’s unrivaled passion for making every event amazing. Her favorite event to work is the Madison Marathon.
Director of Project Management
Abbey has been with Race Day since October 2015. She's originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and has bounced around the country gaining experience in event management. She now live in Madison with her husband Joe and her Golden Retrievers, Denard and Maizey Blue. Her favorite sports team is the University of Michigan - GO BLUE! Abbey's hobbies include running, cycling, swimming and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite thing about Race Day is the people she gets to work with every day and the copious amounts of leftover sweets around the office. Her favorite event is Horribly Hilly Hundreds. She says, "the event has a lot of moving parts, but I like the challenge and look forward to it coming all together for an awesome event each summer."
Warehouse/Keeper of the Cones
Bryce has been with Race Day since the fall of 2017. He's originally from Verona and still resides there. His favorite sports teams include any Wisconsin sports team. In his free time he likes to take long walks, sitting around a campfire, and spending time on the lake. Bryce's favorite thing about Race Day is that he gets to play Tetris all day long when organizing the warehouse. His favorite event to work is Run Santa Run because he has finally perfected his hot chocolate making skills.
Lucas has been with Race Day since 2017. He was born and raised in Lovell, Maine. He moved out to the great unknown of Madison in 2014. Lucas is an avid follower of American's greatest pastime, baseball. He's a loyal devoted fan of the Red Sox (even before the curse was broke). In his spare time Lucas's likes to play with his Aussie Lola, build miscellaneous projects and cook!
Garrett has been with Race Day since 2014 as a weekend warrior and now works in the office. He was born in Iowa, grew up in Mukwanago and now lives in Madison. In his spare time he enjoys biking, backpacking, running, photography and reading a good book. Garrett's favorite event is the Prairie State Cycling Series.
Rickey has been with Race Day since Spring of 2017 as a weekend warrior and is now a project manager. He's originally from Beloit and has lived in Milwaukee, Chicago, before moving to Madison. His favorite sports team is the Chicago Cubs with the Packers a hard second. In his spare time you can find him running, biking, hiking, doing some woodworking, and playing frisbee with my GSP Miles. Rickey's favorite event is the Pardeeville Triathlon.
Timing Project Manager
David's been with Race Day since 2016 as a weekend warrior before he came to work at Race Day full time. He was born and raised here in Wisconsin, but the Army took him all over the world before he came back to Wisconsin. His favorite sports teams are the Packers and the Brewers. In his spare time you can catch him racing at obstacle course events and partaking in adventerous sports. His favorite event to work at Race Day are all of the Wisconsin Tri Series events because they're challenging but fun.
Ken has been with Race Day since the summer of 2018 where he started as a Weekend Warrior. He's from Maple Grove, Minnesota but has been calling Wisconsin home since he started college at UW-Eau Claire in 2014. He doesn't have a favorite sports team but will always root for USA during the Olympics and FIFA World Cups. In his spare time you can find him running, biking, skiing, hiking, and watching movies. His favorite events are The triathlons in the Wisconsin Triathlon Series because "it's really satisfying seeing some of those long days of prep come together for the races (and triathlons will always hold a special place in my heart)."
Media Guru/Bib Tagging Champion
Sarah has been with Race Day since the summer of 2014. She's from Madison and still lives there. She likes to cheer on the Brewers and Badgers. In her spare time she likes to swim, take hundreds of photos, go to concerts and squeeze in as much travel time as she can. Sarah's favorite thing about Race Day is the people she gets to work with and the puppies that come to play. Her favorite event to work is the Taste of Madison because of all the good food and live music.
Eli's been with Race Day since the summer of 2016. He was born in Bloomington, IL but has been a resident of Madtown since he was two. His favorite sports teams are the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. In his spare time you can catch him playing Fortnite and sleeping. His favorite thing about Race Day are all the dogs, specifically Miley.
